Yerin Kwak

Yerin Kwak is a San Diego local and graduated from UC Berkeley in 2022 with a degree in Cognitive Science and a minor in Education. She is dedicated to supporting initiatives in community health, educational equity, and solidarity building. Yerin believes that change is created locally through collective action within communities, which is why she has been committed to community work.

Following her interests, Yerin's past work revolved around advocacy against gender-based violence, public education, and resource access for marginalized communities. Her previous project was on highlighting the relationship between the climate crisis and gender-based violence, and she hopes to continue bringing together the diverse perspectives she has learned from the amazing people she has worked with in the past and present.

In her spare time, you can find her taking on creative projects and trying out new desserts!
