Digital Collage

Students worked with a photo editing software to create a layered composition regarding changes they want to see in their lives.

Sensation Board

Students collaborated in groups of three to create a board that represented each of their neighborhoods through the sensations they can find there.

Lenticular Image

With a simple folding technique, students created an illusion of movement between two images, expanding the narrative potential of each.

Waterslide Decal

Using water and a delicate touch, images and objects were brought together pushing students to consider their mutual relationship to memory.

Cyanotype

Students mixed their own photosensitive chemicals to create a cyan-blue print that represented their neighborhood.

Lesson 1: Rework+Revise Tutorial

Rework+Revise
Create a digital collage using image-editing software to transform something about your environment. Combine images that you capture with images that you find via Google, to create one finished image that reflects a change that you want to see. Find creative and purposeful ways to collage and arrange your images, to tell a story about what you would rebuild, reorganize or revolutionize.

Crea un collage digital utilizando un software de edición de imágenes para transformar algo de tu entorno. Combina imágenes que tú hayas tomado, con imágenes que encuentres a través de Google, para crear una imagen terminada que refleje un cambio que desea ver. Busca formas creativas y determinadas de hacer collage y organizar tus imágenes, para contar una historia sobre lo que quieres reconstruir, reorganizer o revolucionar.
